ATK_BiView Connector is a simple integration of 1C data into BI systems that leaders use
ATK_BiView is a connector developed by specialists of ATK Consulting Group for automatic generation of data model from 1C and its subsequent use in various BI class systems (QlikView, Qlik Sense, Power BI, Datazen, Dundas, Tableau, Excel, etc.). ATK BiView connector allows you to fully automate the process of managing data offloading from 1C without the need to run separate processes or tasks in 1C, as well as to create links between data in automatic mode.
Briefly about the ATK_BiView Connector:
Various 1С versions
The connector works with any 1C:Enterprise 8.1, 8.2, 8.3 configurations under Microsoft SQL Server, PostgresSQL DBMS. It supports both standard and customized versions of 1C.
Various BI systems
The data model created on the basis of 1C ATK_BiView data by the Connector can be used in all modern BI systems: QlikView, Qlik Sense, Power BI, Tableau, Dundas, DataZen, and of course, MS Excel.
You don't have to be an IT professional
You work in a special customization wizard with business objects and their attributes in the usual 1C terminology, and you do not need to understand the 1C database structure
Automation of data model creation from 1C
ATK_BiView creates a data model from SQL views and automates the assignment of correct names to data fields (from the model and user's point of view)
If you change 1C, you won't have to change anything
ATK_BiView guarantees invariability of the created data model even when the 1C data structure is changed, which helps to save money on solution support
Data model debugging mode
In addition to the main mode of operation, there is a data model debugging mode, where the editor can identify and delete tables that are not required in the BI application

Initial connection
During initial connection to 1C you need to configure connection parameters to 1C and SQL server. After checking the connection, the ATK_BiView Connector will prompt you if something is wrong.
Customizing the data model
Customization of the data model is done in a special wizard - you select the main fact tables and the required parameters, and then you can select table and field filters if not all data from the main fact tables are needed.
Formation
After data model calculation in SQL database, SQL representations for all tables of the project are saved in the specified folder. In addition, to use the data model in projects with BI systems QlikView and Qlik Sense, scripts in .txt format are immediately generated to create QVD files and load them into the data model
Editor window
The created data model can be viewed and edited in the Data Model Editor. The Editor window allows you to identify and delete table relationships that are not required in the BI application in a convenient way. Selected cells can be simply deleted from the model in the Editor, and then the data model will be recalculated.
